Organizations & Activities Page
 
There are many groups and activities that take place in our parish. We have many dedicated and hard working people to keep these ministries ongoing and we thank them for their faithfulness.

ANGLICAN CHURCH WOMEN (ACW)
T
his group is made up of Anglican Women, who gather to hear guest speakers, enjoy sumptuous deserts and fundraise for the church.  This group also forms a united force to help families and individuals in need all over the country and the world.  If you are interested, please leave a message for Bev Cowan or Amy Newell at 623-3882.


ALTAR GUILD

T
his guild prepares the sanctuary for worship.  The preparations are done every Saturday morning.  These teams work on rotation.  Please leave a message for Susan Morency (St. George’s) or Bev Cowan (St. Thomas) at the parish office 623-3882.

SERVERS
T
his is an opportunity for youth and adults to participate in worship.  After initial training with the Rector, they are responsible for attending particular services and fulfilling their duties as assigned.  Please call us for more information at 623-3882.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
W
eekly, between the months of September and June, we offer Sunday School for children 3-12 years.  All are welcome. 

YOUTH ACTIVITIES
T
his group meets on an event basis in conjunction with other deanery youth  All youth are welcome.  Please contact us for further information at 623-3882.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDY
D
uring the year, the Parish offers several study group sessions ranging from 4 weeks to 9 weeks.  We have just completed an Advent Study and in February we will be beginning a Lenten Study using "Gospeled Lives - Encounters with Jesus" by John Indermark.  The study groups is open to all.  Please contact the Rector for more information at 623-3882.

PASTORAL CARE
T
he pastoral care in the parish is largely within the hands of the clergy, ably assisted by some trained members of the parish.  Over 30 individuals are visited between the two churches, monthly or bi-monthly.  We also have a ministry of recorded services in order to supply each shut-in with the weekly Sunday message to assist in their own worship.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the pastoral care team, or you know someone who would like to receive tapes of the service, please call the office at 623-3882.

STEWARDSHIP & OUTREACH COMMITTEE
O
ne stewardship representative from each church in the Parish meet with Diocesan representatives on an ad hoc basis in order to recognize and acknowledge our gifts of time and money and how we allocate these fruits.  If you have suggestions, thoughts or concerns, please leave a message at the parish office 623-3882.
